The Short Version

I’m a food-loving travel planner who believes the best adventures begin long before the suitcase is zipped. This blog is where I share the itineraries, meals, and moments that shape my journeys: slow, flavorful travel with a touch of curiosity and joy.

The Full Story

Hi there! I’m a planner at heart, and for me, that usually means planning food and travel—two loves that always seem to overlap. I can happily spend hours piecing together itineraries, researching hidden corners of the world, and mapping out meals along the way. Honestly, I love the process almost as much as the trip itself.

For years, I was a stay-at-home mom, but my “littles” aren’t so little anymore. The house is quieter, and while they’re busy building their own lives, I’ve found myself with the time (and freedom) to dive into something new. With my own version of retirement on the horizon, this felt like the perfect moment to finally give this blog a real try.

The truth? The tech side is new to me, so expect a few bumps as I find my rhythm. My earliest posts (hello, San José del Cabo and Costa Rica) were light on detail compared to what I hope to create going forward. But each entry is a chance to grow into my voice, and that’s part of the fun.

At its heart, this blog is about slowing down. I’m not interested in racing from one landmark to the next. I’d rather linger in a market, taste my way through regional dishes, and let history and nature seep into the experience. Food, after all, isn’t just fuel; it’s memory, connection, and often the best kind of souvenir.

What you’ll find here is part detailed itinerary, part personal foodie travel journal —a mix of stories, tips, musings, and plenty of flavor. It’s a record for myself as much as for anyone else. But if you find it inspiring, useful, or just enjoyable to read, all the better.

I’d love for this to be a conversation, not just a monologue. Ask questions, share feedback (kindly, please), or just follow along as I continue exploring seven continents and infinite foods.

Consider this your boarding pass to food, stories, and the joy of discovering what’s around the next corner.
